While there are many reasons I'm excited to welcome September, (my birthday is a mere six days away, eek!) I'm especially excited because it means I can bust out my favorite nail polish, Vamp by Chanel. Originally dubbed Rouge Noir, this not quite black, not quite red color was created for the Chanel runway in 1994, and in a macabre twist is meant to mimic the color of dried blood. Also seen on Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction, this color has quickly become a cult favorite. Chanel is my favorite nail polish and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous color. Grab yourself a bottle!
