Loveliest Look.

Keira, Keira, Keira. Why she wears anything other than Chanel Haute Couture at all times is beyond me. (Not the most practical or financially viable choice, I am well aware.) She always manages to make these intricate, exquisite garments appear both entirely classic and completely modern. She wears them with an ease and a casual edge that is just magic. Perhaps that why this is the second time in a row she's been my pick for Loveliest Look. Don't stop with the Chanel Keira. Please.

Loveliest Look.

The always gorgeous Keira Knightley turned up in Paris this week to attend Chanel's RTW Fall 2014 show. (Set in a Chanel themed supermarket no less!) The lucky Ms. Knightley donned a Chanel Haute Couture creation for the event, and I am in love. Her light makeup and undone hair add an air of nonchalance to the pristine ensemble, creating the perfect balance. J'adore!

Counter Culture.

Untitled #15

Confession: I am a beauty product junkie. Any makeup emporium is comparable to a candy store in my world, and I LOVE to sample the goods. Although I always have my tried and true favorites, I enjoy playing around, testing new products, trying the newest, hottest, latest. I've lucked out with several really great products lately, and they're too good not to share!

1. If there's one thing I am obsessed with, it's lashes. I am completely preoccupied with creating the longest, blackest, most lush eyelashes possible. In fact, when I get eyelash extensions I always beg the technician to make me look like Snuffleupagus from Sesame Street. (No, really.) In between, when I'm forced to use mascara, nothing usually compares to extensions... until now. I received a mini tube of Benefit's They're Real mascara in my Sephora birthday gift and I am hooked. Previously, I've always been majorly underwhelmed with Benefit's mascara- Bad Gal flakes, their discontinued Get Bent did nothing for me, but They're Real? I may never need eyelash extensions again. I LOVE it that much. You can find it here.
2. I ordered Chantecaille's Les Macarons palette a while ago and it's only just come into regular rotation, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. It's a small palette, comprised of 2 eyeshadows, a blush, a highlighter, and a lip gloss and all the shades are so beautiful and flattering, the lip gloss in particular. It's a perfect pink with gold flecks so it reflects light beautifully and doesn't need frequent touch ups. Grab yours here.

The Making Of A Legend.

The Chanel 2.55 is one of the most iconic handbags available, and without a doubt a chic forever classic. Apparently it takes anywhere from 6 to 15 people a total of 18 hours to create a single bag. If that isn't some serious attention to detail, then I don't know what is!

Double C's? Yes Please.

It's sights like this that make me sad McDonald's has the most recognized logo in the world.

Happy September!

While there are many reasons I'm excited to welcome September, (my birthday is a mere six days away, eek!) I'm especially excited because it means I can bust out my favorite nail polish, Vamp by Chanel. Originally dubbed Rouge Noir, this not quite black, not quite red color was created for the Chanel runway in 1994, and in a macabre twist is meant to mimic the color of dried blood. Also seen on Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction, this color has quickly become a cult favorite. Chanel is my favorite nail polish and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this gorgeous color. Grab yourself a bottle!
